fixed laptop virus!

I have fixed the laptop which was completely attacked by virus. Following are the things done to eliminate virus from the laptop.

1) As the internet was working, i have downloaded malwarebytes and AVG internet security suite. We purchased Malware bytes and used free version of AVG internet security.

 If the internet was not working, i would have downloaded the malwarebytes and the internet security in my other computer and would have copied it to my laptop using my USB stick.

2) As the system was unable to open any .exe file because of virus, i had to change the .exe file to .dummy and run the antivirus programs. More than 1000 virus were detected.  I have re-run the antivirus again and found some more virus files. On my third run, i found none of them. Malware bytes does an amazing job and without this, i would never had been able to remove virus from the laptop.

3) I have downloaded CCleaner using http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER for free and was able to clear all the temporary files by running the CCleaner.

4) I have restarted the system and found that the laptop was totally virus free.
